Agriculture Division Recognizes Patents for Crops, Equipment, and Immune Responses

FERNDALE, Ark. – The University of Arkansas Division of Agriculture System on Friday recognized the professors for the patents they have obtained on their inventions.

Lisa Childs, assistant vice president for technology commercialization for the Agriculture Division, recognized 16 patents by presenting plaques to their inventors.

“Inventiveness, which is finding new ways to improve agriculture, has always been an important part of land-grant work,” Childs said. “These patents represent important practical work and are tangible ways for our research and extension staff to improve the lives of people in Arkansas and beyond.”
