ANDRITZ to supply key production technology and process equipment to Nanning Sun Paper, China
ANDRITZ International Technology Group has received an order from Nanning Sun Paper to supply state-of-the-art and highly efficient pulping technologies for the fiber mill and lime kiln as well as energy-saving OCC lines and system complete waste treatment facility for RDF (waste-derived fuel) at its pulp and paper mill in Nanning City, Guangxi Province, China.
Start-up is scheduled for mid-2023.
ANDRITZ’s scope of supply is on a full EPS (Engineering, Procurement, Supervision) basis and includes:
the largest in China high kappa fiber with a capacity of 1,600 adt/d. The hardwood line features a TurboFeed chip feeding system, Lo-Solids continuous cooking, blast line refiners, screen room, LC refiners and highly efficient washing with a DD drum displacement washer -Multi-stage washer, a COMPACT PRESS washing press and a GF -Advanced vacuum drum filter washer. ANDRITZ fiberline technology ensures maximum uptime and washing efficiency as well as reductions in fresh water, chemical and energy consumption, minimizing environmental impact.
Low consumption lime Kiln with a capacity of 450 tpd of quicklime, including LimeDry lime sludge washing and dewatering filter, LimeKiln feed system, LimeKiln shell, bearing rings, roller assemblies and mechanism workout, as well as a LimeCool and LimeFire burner. Efficient washing of lime mud with a LimeDry filter provides high quality lime mud to minimize lime kiln emissions. ANDRITZ’s proven lime kiln technology and worldwide project references ensure optimized energy consumption and high availability of lime kiln operations.
two suits OCC lines, as well as approach and break flow systems. The new stock preparation lines will have a capacity of 1,550 and 1,400 tpd, respectively, and will process LOCC for the production of high quality linerboard. Delivery includes a PrimeSolve LC pulping system with an advanced configuration and the latest sludge rotor design for highly efficient reject removal and excellent mucking performance. In addition, the scope of delivery contains PrimeScreen X screens with a state-of-the-art rotor design, enabling high screening efficiency, low power consumption and superior stock quality with low fiber loss. ANDRITZ Ultra-High Dispersing Technology enables remarkably high dispersion consistency for greater dirt and stickiness fragmentation, increased fiber strength and steam savings of up to 30%.
- ADuro reject treatment system process 210 t/d of coarse waste and 75 t/d of pulper rags from the new OCC lines for the production of RDF as a high quality alternative fuel fraction. The system includes ReCo reject compactors for optimal dewatering of coarse rejects, ADuro grinders for efficient crushing of rejects and pulper rags, and metal separators to extract the valuable steel fraction.
With this order, ANDRITZ once again demonstrates its strong global position as a supplier of cutting-edge paper technology focused on environmentally friendly production. High kappa fiber line, lime kiln plant and reject processing system are repeat orders from Sun Paper.
Sun Paper Group launched Nanning Sun Paper Co., Ltd., in February 2022. Sun Paper will invest about RMB 20 billion in the construction of the forest pulp industrial park integration and support project, with a annual output of 5.25 million tons.
