Metso Outotec Oyj Wins Equipment Order Over €100 Million for Mill in Uzbekistan

Metso Outotec has signed a contract to supply key process technology to Almalyk Mining and MOF3 of the metallurgical company Copper-Gold-Molybdenum hub complex in Almalyk, in the Tashkent region of Uzbekistan. The planned capacity of the plant, located next to the Yoshlik-1 deposit, is 60 mtpy. The value of the contract exceeds 100 million euros and was recorded in orders received from Minerals in the second quarter of 2022.

Metso Outotec’s scope of delivery includes basic engineering, manufacturing and supply of the HIGMill® Mills, TankCell® Flotation Equipment and High Throughput Thickeners, FrothSense+MT foam cameras, Larox® MHC™ Series PF filters, slurry pumps and hydrocyclones, plus samplers, CourierMT 6X SL Elemental Online Analyzers and PSI500i Particle Size Analyzers, a state-of-the-art process control system, and installation and commissioning consulting services and spare parts.
